"Solitaire's the only game in town", as the song goes and the game has always had a reputation for being somewhat maudlin. Solitaire the PC game, however, is much more than a deck of cards in a lonely house. This is not a game for experienced gamers, but will give great pleasure for gamers who wish to while away a few hours. They may also be interested to know that there are 50 different versions of the game.
The game is very easy to install and is a useful default setting for gamers who like to be gradually introduced to their gameplay. Solitaire games can be saved or restored and may, indeed, prove to be the best game in town.--Paul Munford
