If you're a fan of gun games then Blaze's Scorpion light gun is going to make you happier than Arnold Schwarzenegger in an Uzi factory. Games such as Time Crisis and Point Blank offer some of the biggest laughs the video game world can provide; however, they're a troublesome breed because without a pal and two decent light guns they--rather like a plate of chips wistfully hoping for the application of some salt and vinegar and the company of a nice bit of cod--never fulfil their true potential.
The Scorpion is fully compatible with all light gun games, including Namco titles, for which it has a special G-Con adapter. Not only that, but it also has a rather cool rumble feature--to simulate the gun recoiling when you fire it--as well as auto-reload and auto-fire switches in case you happen to be some kind of filthy cheat. Most importantly, though, it's accurate and it looks really cool. And it's pleasingly cheap. Which makes this a bit of a win/win situation for gun fetishists everywhere.--David Jenkins
